"House" was everyone's friend and the first to give a helping hand — a truck driver who led the department in 1975.

Robert 'House' Householder, son of Roy Gilbert Householder (1889–1981) and Lulu Belle Mason Householder (1892–1985), was born on January 17, 1934, and raised in Huron, NY. He moved to North Rose about 1955 following his marriage to Miss Bonnie Louise Bremer on February 12, 1955, in Arcadia, NY. Bob passed on November 14, 2009, in North Rose and is buried in the Rose Cemetery.

Bob's primary occupation during his life was that of a truck driver and owner-operator.

In addition to the fire department, House was a member of the Wolcott, NY, Elks Lodge and an avid bowler; he was everyone's friend and the first to give a helping hand.
