A North Rose carpenter and charter member of the fire company who served as chief in 1916, the year the first fire station was built on Caroline Street.

Winfield Bayrd 'W.B.' Chaddock, son of Winfield S. Chaddock and Saphronia Lovejoy Chaddock, was born on January 31, 1874, in North Rose, NY. He married Elizabeth Honor Fowler (1872–1952) on September 10, 1895.

W.B. died on October 20, 1960, in Rochester, NY, aged 86 years, and is buried in the Lovejoy Cemetery located on Salter-Colvin Road, east of Lasher Road in North Rose. W.B. was a charter member of the fire company.
